12oz Jar of Lehua Vanilla Honey
I grow my own vanilla orchids, which I hand-pollinate to produce vanilla beans. Once harvested they are dried in the Hawaiian sun for 3 weeks, before being cured for 6 months. The vanilla is then combined with my award-winning Ohi’a Lehua raw honey.
The thick, creamy texture and caramel complex taste of the Ohi’a Lehua honey combined with the classic perfect vanilla flavor creates an unforgettable honey experience.
The Ohi'a Lehua grows throughout the Hawaiian Islands but is most abundant on the Big Island of Hawaii. It usually starts blooming in December and in a good year is still blooming in July giving us a nice long harvest period of this unique honey.
